In 2006, the ACT Human Rights Office (now the Human Rights Commission) initiated a public consultation into whether the Discrimination Act 1991 should be extended to include religious vilification. Whilst it seems that no legislative change was introduced as a result of this consultation, can your party assure voters that it will not introduce or support religious vilification legislation during the next term of the ACT Legislative Assembly?
